Job Description:

Join a well-known Merchant and Investment Bank based in the City of London, recently transitioned into a category management structure, working across the whole business from a group perspective.

Work closely with the Category Lead - Corporate to design and execute category strategies, optimise commercial value, and reduce risks associated with third-party relationships. Be responsible for embedding the TPRM framework, driving engagement from stakeholders, and ensuring policy compliance while delivering value.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Report to the Group Category Lead - Corporate, supporting the shift towards Category Management
• Create and deliver category strategies with annualised savings
• Develop category plans to support group-wide sourcing projects
• Engage with senior stakeholders to ensure buy-in, leveraging strong market knowledge
• Build relationships with key stakeholders to monitor supplier performance
• Monitor supplier risk and performance using reporting tools
• Oversee strategic projects and ensure optimal service and cost efficiency

Experience and Requirements:

• Experience in FM, ideally Soft FM sub-categories
• Experience in large, complex businesses, preferably in Professional & Financial Services sectors (others considered)
• Ability to engage, negotiate, and influence senior stakeholders up to Director level+
• Strong stakeholder management skills
• Analytical mindset with excellent communication skills
• Experience in large, cross-functional procurement teams
• MCIPS qualification is a plus but not essential
