DevOps Engineer – Long-Term Contract (Inside IR35)

Location: Remote (UK or US-based candidates only)

Duration: Minimum 12 months

Rate: Competitive, Inside IR35

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join a high-performing team supporting innovative, large-scale cloud infrastructure projects for a household-name enterprise client in the enterprise applications space. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a mission-critical environment at scale, working alongside top-tier talent across multiple time zones.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Drive and support DevOps practices across cloud-based infrastructure projects
2. Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines
3. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment
4. Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues in a mission-critical environment
5. Leverage infrastructure-as-code to manage scalable, repeatable cloud environments

Requirements:

1. A university degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
2. 6+ years of technical, hands-on experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering
3. Proven expertise in SAP Converged Cloud (or equivalent platforms)
4. Strong command of GitLab, CI/CD, and Linux (SUSE)
5. Solid experience with Terraform and Ansible
6. Familiarity with Kubernetes, Helm, Python, and BASH scripting
7. Exposure to hyperscaler cloud services, cloud-native architectures, and database technologies
8. Strong understanding of GitOps, HashiCorp Vault, and Argo CD
9. Experience designing or supporting multitenant solutions
10. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with a collaborative mindset
