Overview

We are partnering with a Not-for-Profit client seeking an Interim Procurement Specialist to start immediately to join this small procurement team. This is an exciting opportunity to support a dynamic organisation with a contract initially for around 6 months.

This is a fully remote role, working part-time hours (2-3 days per week).

Responsibilities
  • Drafting clear and compliant tender documents within tight deadlines
  • Issuing tender documents promptly and managing the procurement process
  • Undertaking thorough tender analysis and managing contract award procedures
  • Supporting bid writing, specifically the procurement sections
  • Applying a strong understanding of the New Procurement Act in day-to-day activities
  • Reviewing existing frameworks in preparation for forthcoming tenders
Profile / Qualifications
  • Proven experience in procurement within the public sector
  • Ability to deliver high-quality work quickly and independently
  • Strong knowledge of current procurement legislation, including the New Procurement Act

Job Offer
  • Daily rate of £300 to £450, depending on experience and qualifications
