The opportunity
Our Client is an award-winning family-owned British organic grower, miller and food producer based in Berkshire, who are also the UK’s number one organic flour brand dedicated to crafting only the best from sustainably grown ingredients. We are now supporting them in trying to recruit an experienced Procurement Manager who has previously worked in the FMCG industry sector, better still although not essentially who has some understanding of milling.
The role
As the Procurement Manager, you will be reporting to their Head of Logistics & Supply Chain, you will act as a lead member of their procurement team managing the procurement processes with suppliers to improve quality, reliability and traceability, to reduce product cost whilst ensuring continuity of supply of all components. You will take responsibility for the contracting and purchasing of all ingredients and packaging for the company and the management of contracts with own brand suppliers.
On offer to the successful applicant is a highly competitive basic salary, together with full company benefits and relocation assistance to Berkshire if required.
