About the role

This role presents an exciting opportunity to work side-by-side with VP Procurement to support and influence the building of procurement function and capabilities at Everway; by introducing procurement roadmap and strategy, governance and control and evolving procurement and supplier management frameworks within our organization, underpinned by delivery of short and long-term savings and other benefits to the business.

As part of our journey to help mature, we are seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic individual who engages stakeholders to understand needs, obtains buy-in, and is focused on securing the right supplier to deliver against defined outcomes at a competitive price, whilst securing a good level of service and performance throughout the lifecycle of the relationship. Everway is dynamic and evolving, and procurement will play a key part in the future success of the business across the entire stakeholder landscape.

Main Responsibilities

Strategy: Support the development and continuous maturation of the procurement strategy across the group, ensuring it encompasses the global nature of the business and allows for a pragmatic and workable approach to deliver the right outcome for the business.

Procurement Planning: Assessing the organisation's needs, planning when work needs to be completed so time is given to completing relevant market engagement and negotiation. Communicating the plan to relevant stakeholders so they can provide time and effort to support a successful outcome.

Market Engagement: Either as the lead or a supporting advisor, ensure needs are understood to allow for internal sign-off before market engagement to ensure the right solution is delivered. Engage multiple suppliers to test the market in accordance with Procurement Policy, and provide options and alternatives for the business to consider that meet the time, cost, and quality expectations of our internal teams.

Contract Management: Support the contract lifecycle including drafting, negotiation, socialisation, sign-off, issues, and escalations during lifecycle and supporting through to exit. Ensure regular reviews of long-standing contracts to ensure they are still fit for purpose.

Supplier Management: Support and develop supplier management activity for our key suppliers to ensure as a group we get the most from our suppliers and actively participate in the relationship throughout the life of a contract.

Compliance, Regulations, and Ethics: Working with a strong code of ethics to select and onboard suppliers to company and regulatory requirements, ensuring strong relationships throughout the lifecycle of a supplier.

Risk and Reporting: For your area, develop and manage key performance and key risk indicators for suppliers and ensure any risk is tracked and reported through proper channels.

Tendering and Negotiations: Lead major tenders from start to finish, but also lead tactical negotiations, where procurement can add true value, to support the business ensuring the best value for money and we select the right supplier for Everway.

  • 5+ years of procurement experience in a global environment
  • Experience in fast-paced, hyper-growth environments, e.g., SaaS, Start-/Scale-ups
  • Greenfield procurement experience, taking the business on the journey of rolling out good procurement practices
  • Relevant procurement experience over a range of categories, e.g., IT/Tech, Marketing, and Professional Services
