Job summary

FCC Environment is seeking a Procurement Data Processor to manage stock, data and supplier relationships at the Allington Energy from Waste facility in Kent. The role focuses on data accuracy, PO processing and ensuring stock availability to support procurement activities.

You will maintain the inventory database, raise purchase orders, review quotations and help drive best practices across procurement functions in a full-time capacity.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' procurement experience in a recycling, manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Experience inputting and managing large data volumes in an MRP system.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
• CIPS qualification desirable.
• Experience using stock inventory management systems.
• Knowledge of procurement best practice.
• Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Able to prioritise workloads and adapt to changing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Q4 stock inventory database and generate reports.
• Monitor stock levels and adjust parameters to minimise shortages.
• Raise and manage RFQs for stock, consumables and tools.
• Review supplier quotations and make recommendations.
• Raise, receive and manage purchase orders per procedures.
• Progress supplier orders for timely delivery.
• Maintain inventory records in the MRP database.
• Match invoices to purchase orders and resolve discrepancies.
• Support annual pricing agreements and broader procurement activities.
• Guide internal stakeholders on stockholding and procurement best practices.
