Job summary

Johnson Matthey in Royston (London) is seeking a Procurement Data and Insights Specialist to drive actionable insights from global procurement spend through advanced data analytics.

You will develop and refine Power BI dashboards, analyse spend data across regions, and partner with category managers to support procurement strategies. Strong Excel and communication skills are essential for senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience creating and enhancing Power BI dashboards, reports and data visualisations.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret procurement, cost and spend datasets.
• Experience in procurement, supply chain, sourcing, finance environments (nice to have).
• Advanced Excel and data management with focus on reporting accuracy and data quality.

• Review complex bills of materials and indirect cost structures to challenge assumptions and highlight improvement opportunities.
• Communicate reporting outputs, insights and recommendations to stakeholders across procurement, finance and senior leadership teams.

Location: Royston, London - hybrid.

The role:

As a Procurement Data and Insights Specialist , you will help drive our goals by:

• Developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards that provide actionable insights into global procurement spend, performance trends, opportunities and risks
• Supporting the collection, validation and analysis of spend data across sectors, regions and business units to improve visibility and decision making
• Partnering with category managers to deliver reporting and analytics that support category strategies across direct and indirect spend areas

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including presenting findings to senior audiences
• Experience creating and enhancing Power BI dashboards, reports and data visualisations
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex procurement, cost and spend datasets
• Experience working within procurement, supply chain, sourcing, commercial or finance environments (nice to have)
• Advanced Excel and data management skills, with a focus on reporting accuracy and data quality.
