Johnson Matthey is seeking a Procurement Data and Insights Specialist to turn complex spend data into actionable insights. You will build and maintain Power BI dashboards that reveal performance trends, risks and opportunities across global procurement, reporting to leadership.

In this hybrid role based in Royston/London, you will partner with category managers, validate data, and translate findings into clear recommendations, supporting smarter sourcing and cost optimisation while upholding

Qualifications

• Translate data into clear business insights for stakeholders.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management, including presenting findings to senior audiences.
• Experience creating and enhancing Power BI dashboards, reports and data visualisations.
• Strong analytical skills interpreting complex procurement and spend data.
• Experience in procurement, supply chain, sourcing, finance environments (nice to have).
• Advanced Excel and data management for reporting accuracy.

Responsibilities

Job title: Procurement Data and Insights Specialist

Location: Royston, London - hybrid.

The role:

As a Procurement Data and Insights Specialist, you will help drive our goals by:

• Developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards that provide actionable insights into global procurement spend, performance trends, opportunities and risks


• Supporting the collection, validation and analysis of spend data across sectors, regions and business units to improve visibility and decision making


• Partnering with category managers to deliver reporting and analytics that support category strategies across direct and indirect spend areas


• Identifying cost optimisation and savings opportunities through detailed spend analysis and market data interpretation


• Reviewing complex bills of materials and indirect cost structures to challenge assumptions and highlight improvement opportunities


• Communicating reporting outputs, insights and recommendations to stakeholders across procurement, finance and senior leadership teams.

Key skills that will help you succeed in this role:

• Ability to translate data into clear business insights and recommendations for a range of stakeholders


• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including presenting findings to senior audiences


• Experience creating and enhancing Power BI dashboards, reports and data visualisations


• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex procurement, cost and spend datasets


• Experience working within procurement, supply chain, sourcing, commercial or finance environments (nice to have)


• Advanced Excel and data management skills, with a focus on reporting accuracy and data quality.
