Job summary

Belfast City Council is seeking a full-time, permanent post to lead on commercial and procurement data analysis. You will collate, validate and analyse data to deliver high-quality management information and recommendations to the council.

You will provide data analytics support to inform strategy and policy development and help develop a data strategy ensuring data is captured, monitored and reported to support compliance and process monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Support the development of a data strategy to capture, monitor and report data for process and compliance monitoring.
• Assist with the development of systems for the effective management and use of information.

Job description

There is currently one full-time, permanent post.

You will be responsible for su pporting the delivery of significant commercial and procurement projects, services, and the council in achieving its aims and objectives by leading on the collation, validation and analysis of a range of commercial and procurement data, providing high-quality management information and recommendations to the council. You will provide data analytics support and advice to inform strategy and policy development and implementation . You will s upport the development of a data strategy that ensures relevant commercial and procurement data is captured, monitored and reported to support process and compliance monitoring. You will be responsible for and assist with the development of, appropriate systems for the effective management and use of information.

£25,614 - £26,427 per annum (pro rata to hours worked) plus night rate, where appropriate
