Job summary

Belfast City Council is seeking a Digital Consultant or Analyst to handle assigned work across implementations, training or related aspects to promote products and services and deliver on time, within budget and meeting performance targets.

The Corporate Services Department provides essential support functions, including Audit, Governance & Risk Services, City Innovation, Commercial & Procurement, Digital Services and Regional Programmes to drive digital transformation and strategic initiatives

Job description

To be responsible to a Digital Consultant or Analyst for assigned work on any implementation, training or related aspect of work so as to ensure the effective promotion of products and services and the delivery of same to agreed time, quality, budget and performance targets.

About the department

TheCorporate Services Departmentprovides essentialstrategic and operational support services, ensuring the council operates effectively and efficiently. Key functions include:

• Audit, Governance & Risk Services– Ensuring compliance and best practices in corporate governance.
• City Innovation– Driving digital transformation and innovation within the council.
• Commercial & Procurement Services– Managing procurement and contract oversight.
• Digital Services– Providing IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and digital solutions.
• Regional Programmes– Leading the delivery of strategic initiatives such as theBelfast Region City Deal.

£25,614 - £26,427 per annum (pro rata to hours worked) plus night rate, where appropriate
