Job summary

Belfast City Council is seeking a full-time, permanent post to lead on commercial and procurement data analysis. You will collate, validate and analyse data to deliver high-quality management information and recommendations to the council.

You will provide data analytics support to inform strategy and policy development and help develop a data strategy ensuring data is captured, monitored and reported to support compliance and process monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Lead on the collation, validation and analysis of commercial and procurement data to support decision‑making.
• Provide high‑quality management information and recommendations to the council.
• Offer data analytics support and advice to inform strategy, policy development and implementation.
• Support the development of a data strategy to capture, monitor and report data for process and compliance monitoring.
• Assist with the development of systems for the effective management and use of information.
