Job summary

Forza Foods Ltd is seeking a Procurement Advisor to plan and manage the ordering process for a specific product group within the IPL business unit, ensuring stock availability across the supply chain to satisfy Asda orders.

In this role you will manage MRP, liaise with suppliers, and work with the Demand Planning and Produce teams to align forecasts with programme needs and cost-effective inbound deliveries.

• MRP system experience required.
• Planning experience in fast-paced environment.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communicator able to liaise with suppliers.
• Team player who can adapt quickly.
• Strong analytical capabilities and problem-solving.
• Ability to prioritise tasks in a busy environment.
• Willingness to expand knowledge and learn.
• Second language skills advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage the MRP system to maintain stock levels.
• Ensure 100% BOM accuracy for raw material inputs and provide visibility to other departments.
• Daily liaison with suppliers via phone and email to validate loading vs programme.
• Coordinate with IPL Demand Planning Team & Produce to align forecast with programme.
• Send orders to suppliers on time, in full, per category requirements.
• Liaise with external logistics for inbound deliveries and cost-effective routing.
• Update site records and stock information in the system.
• Review supplier input metrics and elevate issues to procurement specialist.
• Communicate inbound concerns and propose proactive solutions.
