Job summary

GM Performance Power Units is seeking a Process Quality Engineer to ensure robust and defect-free manufacturing of Cadillac F1 Power Unit systems. This role will involve developing process controls, leading APQP deliverables, and driving resolution of nonconformances using structured root cause analysis.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field and bring strong technical capabilities, especially in high-performance manufacturing environments.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of GD&T, APQP/PPAP, SPC, and MSA.
• Experience in process or manufacturing quality.
• Ability to work hands-on in manufacturing and assembly environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain process controls and quality standards.
• Lead APQP deliverables and ensure process readiness.
• Drive resolution of nonconformances using root cause analysis.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supplier Quality teams.
