GM Performance Power Units is seeking a Process Quality Engineer to ensure defect-free manufacturing of Cadillac F1 Power Unit systems. This role involves quality ownership across manufacturing processes, driving alignment between engineering and manufacturing.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, experience with APQP and SPC, and a hands-on background in manufacturing. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance process quality and support continuous

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related Engineering field.
• Experience in process or manufacturing quality.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T, APQP/PPAP, SPC, and MSA.
• Experience supporting machining and/or additive manufacturing processes.
• Proven experience in root cause analysis and CAPA systems.
• Ability to work hands-on in manufacturing and assembly environments.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain process controls, inspection criteria, and quality standards.
• Develop and perform reaction plans for critical features utilizing SPC.
• Support builds through torque verification and leak testing.
• Lead APQP deliverables and ensure process readiness.
• Review and approve FAI/FAIR and CTQ documentation.
• Drive resolution of nonconformances using structured root cause analysis.
• Work with metrology in validation activities including CMM.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on defect reduction.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering and Manufacturing teams.
