Job summary

GM Performance Power Units is looking for a Process Quality Engineer to ensure robust manufacturing and assembly of Cadillac F1 Power Unit systems. This role involves driving alignment between engineering intent and manufacturing capability, requiring strong technical depth and hands-on problem-solving skills.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in a related field, experience in manufacturing quality, and knowledge of APQP, SPC, and root cause analysis.

Qualifications

• Experience in process or manufacturing quality.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T, APQP/PPAP, SPC, and MSA.
• Experience supporting machining and/or additive manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain process controls and quality standards.
• Support builds through torque verification and functional checks.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on defect reduction.
