Job summary

GM Performance Power Units in Dartford seeks a Process Quality Engineer to ensure robust and defect-free manufacturing of Cadillac F1 Power Unit systems. This position involves quality ownership across manufacturing and assembly, focusing on aligning engineering intent with product performance.

The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background, hands-on problem-solving skills, and experience applying quality methodologies in high-performance environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related Engineering field.
• Experience in process or manufacturing quality.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T, APQP/PPAP, SPC, and MSA.
• Experience supporting machining and/or additive manufacturing.
• Proven experience in root cause analysis.
• Ability to work hands-on in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain process controls and quality standards.
• Lead APQP deliverables and ensure process readiness.
• Support builds through various verification tests.
• Drive resolution of nonconformances using root cause analysis.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering and Manufacturing.
