Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL seeks a Pipe Fitter TIG Welder for Process Pipework in Birmingham. Work spans a well-equipped workshop in Stirchley and sites across Birmingham. Duties include fabricating and butt-welding pipework, plus site fitting and supporting pipe supports.

Ideal candidates will have experience in food, dairy, beverage or petrochemical environments and hold current welding codings. Salary is hourly, with benefits within a market-leading organisation.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience in pipe-fitting and stainless steel TIG butt welding.
• Current or previous codings to back welding qualifications are essential.
• Experience in food, drink or petrochemical processing environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fabricating and butt-welding schedule 20 and schedule 40 pipework in steel and stainless steel.
• Site fitting the fabricated pipework and manufacturing brackets and pipe supports.
• Assisting other pipe fitter welders as necessary in a busy workshop and on-site environments.
