Qualifications

• Be time served in appropriate industries petro-chemical, nuclear industries, food, heavy industries or steel processing environment.
• Proficient in using hand tools and power tools relevant to the welding trade.
• Be familiar with quality requirements ensuring high-quality welds that meet industry standards.
• Be familiar with working to x-ray standard work & ensuring all required paperwork is completed.
• Be conversant with welding processes.
• Have a strong mechanical knowledge background & to understand machinery and equipment used in the welding process.
• Be able to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Be competent in welding Stainless steel and/or Carbo

Job Overview:

We are looking for skilled pipe weldes with experience in TIG and MMA welding processes, capable of working with stainless steel and carbon up to 20" thickness (Majority of work is up to 6"). The welder will be responsible to ensure high-quality results while working to coded standards. This role is a permanent opportunity

Information for this position

• Monday – Friday
• Mixture of working at the facility and site work around the UK (Around 50/50 for more on the site work within 1.5hrs of Wolverhampton).
• 7am – 4.30pm, 1pm finish on Fridays (Generally)
• 31 days holiday
• Overtime at time and a half until Saturday midday, following that it is double time
• Van and tools provided
