Job summary

Yorkshire Water is seeking Process Operators to join our Process team, helping us keep essential water services running smoothly for our customers. The roles are permanent, 37 hours a week, with a rota covering early, late, and weekend shifts.

You’ll work on site across Yorkshire, supported by training and a full kit of tools and PPE. A proactive, safety-first approach and teamwork are essential to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• Practical, hands-on mindset and ability to work outdoors in all weathers.
• Resilience and the ability to work in a challenging environment.
• Work well independently and as part of a team; manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Responding to RTS alarms and pollution incidents.
• Gathering evidence at suspected pollution incidents.
• Lifting, checking, and unblocking pumps.
• Taking samples, examining results, and troubleshooting issues.
• Raising follow-on work for internal support services.
