Job summary

Gap Personnel is recruiting a Process Operative in Widnes. The role involves operating process equipment, handling valves and pumps, and monitoring production quality and volumes on a Monday–Friday schedule.

The position requires a Counterbalance FLT licence, a hands-on approach, and flexibility to assist other departments. This is a temporary to permanent contract with a 28,000 £ annual salary.

Job Title: Process Operative

Location: Widnes

Salary: £28,000 per annum (contracted hourly pay )

Hours: Monday- Friday 08:30- 17:00

Contract: Temporary to Permanent

We are currently supporting our manufacturing client who are a specialist in their market to join their growing team.

This is a varied role within a small team. You will be responsible for operating process equipment, FLT and assisting with other different tasks as and when required.

As a Process Operative your duties will be:

• Operating process equipment.
• Working with valves and pumps.
• Monitoring quality and production volumes.
• Filing drums.
• Operating FLT Counterbalance.
• Basic valve repairs and leak rectification.
• General operational support across the site.

Qualifications

• Must have a background in production, process manufacturing, or similar industrial environments.
• FLT Counterbalance licence must be in date and accredited (RTITB or ITSSAR).
• Confident, hands-on approach.
• Willingness to learn new skills and be upskilled.
• Happy assisting other departments and conducting different tasks as and when required.
