Job summary

E3recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a market-leading manufacturer for a Production Operative in Widnes. Monday to Friday, 8–4, with a salary of £33,000. The role offers a permanent contract and opportunities for training and development.

The ideal candidate will work well in a small team, have good communication skills and a strong work ethic, with experience in a production factory environment and a drive to meet targets.

Qualifications

• Experience on an automated Production line.
• Heavy industry experience preferable.
• A current FLT License would be desirable.

Responsibilities

• The production of high-quality products operating production machinery.
• The manual packing and movement of heavy products.
• Observations, tests and assessments of product to ensure quality control compliance, in-line removal and replacement of sub-standard product.
• Minor maintenance of plant and equipment, clean down of equipment at the end of production.
• Creating and maintaining the highest standards of 5S housekeeping and environmental management.
