Job summary

Gap Personnel is recruiting a Process Operative in Widnes. The role involves operating process equipment, handling valves and pumps, and monitoring production quality and volumes on a Monday–Friday schedule.

The position requires a Counterbalance FLT licence, a hands-on approach, and flexibility to assist other departments. This is a temporary to permanent contract with a 28,000 £ annual salary.

Qualifications

• Background in production, process manufacturing, or similar industrial environments.
• Confident, hands-on approach to work.
• Willingness to learn new skills and be upskilled.
• Happy assisting other departments and conducting various tasks as required.
• Ability to handle some heavy lifting.

Responsibilities

• Operate process equipment.
• Work with valves and pumps.
• Monitor quality and production volumes.
• Fill drums.
• Operate FLT Counterbalance.
• Perform basic valve repairs and leak rectification.
• Provide general operational support across the site.
