Job summary

Tata Steel Colors in Shotton is seeking a time-served mechanical craftsperson to perform mechanical maintenance within the Manufacturing Engineering function, supporting process lines and upholding safety procedures.

You will work with IMS/RMS/MoC systems, contribute to safety improvements, and assist with downshift/shutdown planning while mentoring Tata Steel Apprentices in a safe, compliant environment.

Qualifications

• Time served mechanical craftsperson with relevant plant experience.
• Good communications skills and ability to work in a multi-disciplined team.
• Knowledge of safety and environment procedures for the job level.

Responsibilities

• Health, safety and environment performance in line with IMS procedures.
• Operate equipment safely within Manufacturing Engineering.
• Utilise IMS, RMS, MoC and 4 Whats systems as required.
• Assist with safety improvements and development of apprentices.
