Job summary

Mott MacDonald Bentley, part of the Anglian Water @One Alliance, is seeking a Process Engineer to design Water/Wastewater treatment solutions. You will work with the project design team to identify optimal processes, balancing efficiency and environmental goals, while following established design standards.

You will contribute to technical calculations, data sheets, and subsystem specifications, maintaining safety and quality as a priority.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in water/wastewater process engineering or related field.
• Experience in process engineering for water/wastewater and biosolids treatment.
• Strong IT skills and ability to communicate with stakeholders across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Undertake process design of Water/Wastewater Treatment Plants and related systems to meet Anglian Water goals.
• Produce technical deliverables: schedules, data sheets, engineering calculations and subcontract specifications.
• Oversee process calculations, hydraulics, unit processes, pump calculations and data sheets.
• Collaborate with supply chain and perform technical bid analysis of third-party designs.
• Escalate time/cost/quality issues before they impact project delivery.
• Promote safe design practices adhering to CDM Regulations and standards.
• Maintain interfaces with other engineering teams to ensure cohesive project execution.
