Mott MacDonald Bentley seeks a Mechanical Engineer to design water and wastewater infrastructure and support projects from outline to commissioning across the UK. You will deliver P&IDs, valve schedules, pump calculations and ensure safe access, coordinating with electrical, civil and process designers to meet programme and budget.

You will work with commercial and construction teams, build practical, safe solutions, and engage with clients to secure outcomes.

Formación

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Working towards IEng / CEng with a relevant Engineering Institution.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
• Methodical approach to problem solving.
• A valid driving licence and willingness to travel to sites across your operational region.

Responsabilidades

• Develop the mechanical design of water and wastewater infrastructure and non‑infrastructure projects through the outline and detailed design, construction, commissioning, and handover, including, but not limited to, P&IDs, valve schedules, pump calculations, defining safe access and lifting arrangements, above ground pipework layouts, etc.
• Coordinate with the project team comprising of Electrical, Civil, Geotech and Process designers and ensure designs are completed on programme, within budget, and to the quality defined by framework specifications.
• Working closely and collaboratively with the commercial, operational and construction teams to develop efficient, practical and safe solutions throughout design stages, construction and beyond
• Positively engage with the client, managing relationships and adopting a one-team approach to supporting them in achieving their aims.
