Job summary

G2 Legal Limited is seeking an experienced Probate Solicitor to join a Devon-based private client team. The role involves handling probate matters for executors, trustees and beneficiaries, with the opportunity to draft wills and LPA wishes while meeting clients at the office or at home.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years' PQE in private client law, and the firm supports hybrid working and strong career development within a Legal 500-ranked team in a well-established practice.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' PQE in private client law.
• Unqualified probate specialists will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of probate matters and estate administration.
• Advise executors, trustees and beneficiaries.
• Provide guidance on inheritance tax reporting, grants of representation, estate accounts and distributions.
• Draft wills and lasting powers of attorney.
• Meet clients in the office and at clients' homes.
• Build relationships with clients and referrers.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the department.
