Job summary

CRA Legal is recruiting a Probate Solicitor/Fee Earner on hybrid working. You will manage a varied probate caseload from start to finish, with a client-focused approach and support from AI-enabled processes.

The position is a full-time, permanent contract with a salary of £40,000 - £65,000 plus bonus. Hybrid working includes 1–2 office days per week, with opportunities for career progression within a leading national firm.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor or legal executive in private practice (CILEX or STEP) or probate experience.
• Ability to manage a varied probate caseload with initiative and prioritisation.
• Client-focused approach with ability to build relationships remotely.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own caseload of probate cases varying in complexity from start to finish, with support of a case management system and AI tools
• Use our case management system to ensure information is recorded accurately
• Engage with clients mainly by telephone and email
• Work collaboratively with expert support from the team to continually develop your legal skills, administrative support will also be provided
• Use your legal knowledge to mentor more junior members of the team

In this role, you'll manage a varied caseload of probate cases from start to finish, with a client-focussed approach to targets. You won't need to bring a following of clients with you as the firm will source new work for you. You'll also be supported by the firms innovative legal technology - with AI enabled processes supporting the firms legal technology platform and additional plans ahead, so there's never been a more exciting time to join! What your role will involve:

About you:

• A qualified as a solicitor or legal executive in private practice (CILEX or STEP qualification), or have the equivalent experience in probate law. Ideally circa 3PQE+
• The ability to use your initiative and effectively prioritise and organise your work in a fast-paced and high-volume environment
• A client-focused approach with the ability to build positive relationships in a remote setting
