Job summary

Mears Group in Peterborough is seeking a proactive Planner to join our team. You will schedule and coordinate repairs, ensuring efficient use of resources and timely delivery while supporting colleagues across the planning function.

The role requires experience in a fast-paced environment, strong IT skills and a customer-first approach. Training and development opportunities are provided, with a permanent contract and 42.5 hours per week.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths equivalent required.
• Experience in a fast-paced, pressurised environment.
• Strong IT skills with the ability to use scheduling systems.
• Excellent time management and communication.

Responsibilities

• Schedule operatives and subcontractors to ensure timely repairs.
• Monitor and update repair jobs daily, including appointments and follow-ups.
• Communicate clearly with residents, operatives and stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate records for audits and compliance.
