Job summary

Mears Group is seeking an organised Planner in Peterborough to coordinate repairs and maintenance, schedule operatives and subcontractors, and ensure jobs are allocated and completed on time. You will monitor performance against KPIs and support colleagues across the planning function in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires strong IT skills with experience of job management systems, excellent time management and clear communication with residents and teams.

Qualifications

• Experience scheduling and coordinating repairs and maintenance activities.
• GCSE English & Maths or equivalent.
• Experience in a fast-paced, pressurised environment.
• Strong IT skills to use scheduling systems.
• Excellent time management, organisational and communication skills.
• Customer-first approach with residents and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Schedule operatives and subcontractors to deliver repairs on time.
• Monitor daily repair jobs and update appointments.
• Support IT systems and ensure PDAs are updated.
• Communicate clearly with residents, operatives and stakeholders.
• Work with administrators, supervisors and contractors for seamless service.
• Assist with reporting and KPI monitoring.
