Job summary

Severn Trent in Mansfield (Nottinghamshire) is seeking Network Technicians to join a dedicated team. You will help protect the sewer network and assets with proactive inspections and responsive investigations.

The role entails field work, using a laptop and phone for reporting, and may require overtime in a 24/7 environment. The successful candidate will hold at least a standard driving license (C1 or Class 2 preferred) and participate in a shared standby rota.

Qualifications

• Minimum driving license required.
• Willingness to work overtime in a 24/7 environment.
• Experience using a laptop and phone for recording and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and promote a safe working environment while meeting quality standards.
• Identify remedial/improvement works for ancillary assets.
• Mitigate risk of network failures with proactive measures.
• Investigate customer service issues to full resolution.
• Coordinate with Highways Authority and Local Authorities on defects.
