Job summary

You will manage a portfolio of customer accounts, chase overdue invoices and ensure balances are collected within terms while maintaining positive customer relationships.

• Experience in a Credit Control role.
• Confident communicating with customers at all levels.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a busy ledger.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of customer accounts, ensuring outstanding balances are collected within agreed payment terms.
• Proactively contact customers via telephone and email to chase overdue invoices and resolve payment queries.
• Monitor aged debt reports, identifying overdue accounts and escalating potential issues where necessary.
• Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies, account queries and payment disputes.
• Allocate customer payments and maintain accurate account records.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal departments to support timely payments.
• Prepare and issue customer statements, payment reminders and regular account updates.
• Support month-end processes and provide updates on aged debt and cash collection performance.
