Morgan McKinley (Milton Keynes) is seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join our Daventry-based finance team. The role is semi-hybrid, with an initial five days in the office, and offers a salary up to £35,000 per annum.

You will own the credit control process, handle billing and cash allocation, chase debts, and keep ledgers up to date while supporting the wider finance function. A proactive, detail-oriented approach and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment are

Qualifications

• Experience in a Credit Control or Sales Ledger role.
• Strong billing, cash allocation and debt-chasing experience.
• Confident completing bank reconciliations.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong numerical skills.
• Can work independently and manage workload effectively.

Responsabilités

• Manage customer billing and ensure invoices are raised accurately and on time.
• Proactively chase outstanding debt and manage aged debt balances.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers to ensure timely payment.
• Allocate and process customer receipts.
• Manage debt payments and investigate discrepancies or queries.
• Complete daily and periodic bank reconciliations.
• Reconcile customer accounts and resolve outstanding issues.
• Investigate and resolve payment and invoice queries.
• Maintain accurate financial records and keep the sales ledger up to date.
• Support the wider finance team with day-to-day duties.
