Confidential is seeking a Credit Controller to manage day-to-day credit control activities for our Gloucester-based business services operations. You will work with the Accounting & Finance team to keep payment processes organised during this six-month fixed-term contract.

The role requires clear communication with customers about outstanding balances, accurate record-keeping, and diligent follow-up on payment commitments to help maintain timely cash flow.

Formación

• Experience of credit control and managing customer payment follow-up.
• Ability to review account information and maintain accurate records.
• Clear communication with customers about outstanding balances, especially by phone.
• Experience recording payment commitments and follow-up actions.
• Good attention to detail when updating customer account notes.
• Ability to manage day-to-day credit control tasks in an organised way.

Responsabilidades

• Manage day-to-day credit control activities to support timely customer payments.
• Review customer account information and keep records accurate and up to date.
• Contact customers regarding outstanding balances and agree practical next steps.
• Follow up on payment commitments and record outcomes clearly.
• Maintain clear notes on customer communications for the Accounting & Finance team.
• Identify overdue balances and raise them with the relevant internal contacts.
• Help keep credit control records organised throughout the six-month fixed-term contract.
