DS Smith Plc in Caerphilly is seeking an enthusiastic Credit Controller to join our Finance team. You will manage a portfolio of customer accounts, ensuring timely payments and supporting cash flow across the business.

You will investigate queries, reduce aged debt and provide reporting to aid senior management. The role requires strong Excel skills, a proven track record in B2B credit control, and a proactive, collaborative approach.

Formación

• Proven B2B credit control experience
• Track record in reducing aged debt
• Strong numerical and analytical abilities
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong IT skills including Microsoft Excel
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
• Proactive mindset with continuous improvement

Responsabilidades

• Manage a portfolio of customer accounts and ensure payments are collected in line with terms
• Perform debt collection and credit control activities per policy
• Investigate and resolve invoice and payment queries
• Maintain sales ledger records and carry out account reconciliations
• Produce monthly customer statements and support reporting requirements
• Monitor and reduce overdue debt and support cash collection targets
• Build positive relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
• Identify opportunities to improve credit control processes and drive efficiency
