Job summary

Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Private Patients Coordinator to manage the patient journey from referral through to treatment. You will handle bookings, authorisations and documentation, and act as the central contact for consultants, patients, insurers and internal teams to ensure a smooth, financially compliant service.

You must be on-site at multiple sites, with strong organisational skills, excellent communication and meticulous attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating private patient services or NHS service delivery.
• Proven administrative/coordination experience with attention to detail.
• On-site work across multiple sites with stakeholders and customers.
• Experience in NHS and/or private healthcare environments.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end private patient pathway from referrals to treatment.
• Manage referrals, bookings, admissions, authorisations and related docs.
• Act as central contact for patients, consultants, insurers and internal teams.
• Support billing, pre-authorisation processes and record keeping.
