Job summary

New Hall Hospital in Salisbury seeks a Private Patient Co-ordinator to grow self-pay and Private Medically Insured admissions and manage consultant relationships, ensuring a consistently excellent patient experience.

You will handle enquiries via phone, email or social media, provide detailed information, and maintain relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders to convert appointments and maximise patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Marketing or sales experience is required.
• Ability to manage a portfolio of private patients from initial contact to discharge.
• Strong computer skills with MS Office and web-based reporting.
• Confident interaction with a range of people in a high-end setting.
• Excellent communication skills across face-to-face, phone and written channels.
• Articulate with a high standard of personal presentation.

Responsibilities

• Handle all enquiries and book appointments by phone, email or social media.
• Provide detailed information to patient enquiries while delivering excellent customer service.
• Build and maintain relationships with hospital teams, consultants, medical secretaries and external stakeholders to convert appointments.
• Maintain contact with potential patients to track progress of enquiries.
