Job summary

NHS Professionals is recruiting for an Assistant Patient Pathway Co-ordinator in Oxford. The role is a temporary 3‑month position with 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, based at Women’s Centre, John Radcliffe Hospital.

You will support the Gynaecology Administrative team and assist with booking follow-ups and admin duties, with a view to potential permanent progression. You will deputise for the Patient Pathway Coordinator and handle patient reception, notes, and correspondence to ensure

Qualifications

• Vocational Level 3 qualification or 2+ years relevant experience.
• Experience with EPR in NHS settings is desirable.
• Strong admin skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide cross cover across the Gynaecology Administrative team as directed by the Team Leader.
• Provide primary administrative support to the specialist nurse and junior doctor teams, including booking follow-up appointments and correspondence support.
• Deputise for the Patient Pathway Coordinator in their absence.
• Ensure appropriate follow-up appointments are booked.
• Produce high-quality clinical correspondence via the digital transcription system within 7 days of delivery.
