Job summary

Care First UK Recruitment Solutions is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to provide ongoing care to a private client in Ferndown. The role offers two 14-hour shifts per week, totaling 28 hours, with a permanent contract and consistent hours.

You will work alongside another staff member to deliver personal, practical and emotional support, ensuring dignity and independence for the client in their own home.

Qualifications

• Have previous experience in a care or support worker role - essential.
• Ability to provide personal care and practical support.
• Experience or understanding of medication administration.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, compassionate and professional in a private home setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical, personal and emotional support to a private client in their own home.
• Assist with personal care and daily living activities.
• Support with domestic duties and maintain a clean home environment.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Administer medication per care plans and training.
• Monitor wellbeing and report concerns to the manager.
• Collaborate with colleague to ensure high-quality care.
