Job summary

Candlelight Homecare Services Ltd is seeking a Care and Support Worker for Ferndown. The role involves supporting vulnerable adults in their homes across Ferndown, Dorset and nearby areas, with shifts from 7am-2pm and 4pm-10pm and some weekend work.

Full-time and part-time options are available. We offer comprehensive training, mileage and travel time, NVQ opportunities, a company smartphone, pension, and 28 days holiday pro-rata.

Qualifications

• Experience in health and social care is preferred.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Compassionate, reliable and patient with clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide emotional and practical support including personal care, meal preparation and domestic tasks.
• Assist with medication and mobility aids as required, and monitor client wellbeing.
• Report significant changes to the Registered Manager and promote client independence and safety.
