Job summary

Respond Recruit is seeking compassionate and reliable Support Workers to join our client’s care team on flexible bank shifts across days, nights and weekends. Earn £14.24 per hour while helping residents maintain independence, dignity and quality of life in a supportive environment.

You will be involved in personal care, daily living activities, therapy support and contributing to a person-centred care approach within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service.
• Valid Moving & Handling training certificate.
• Valid Health & Safety training certificate.
• Valid Safeguarding training certificate.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A compassionate, professional and reliable approach.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Flexibility to work day, night or weekend shifts according to availability.

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with personal care and daily living activities.
• Supporting independence, dignity and individual care goals.
• Assisting with therapy and rehabilitation programmes.
• Promoting emotional wellbeing and social engagement.
• Building positive relationships with residents, families and colleagues.
• Maintaining a safe, comfortable and supportive environment.
• Working collaboratively with Nurses, Therapists and the wider multidisciplinary team.
• Following care plans, safeguarding procedures and health and safety guidelines.
