The Private Equity Senior Analyst is a key member of the team responsible for supporting the full investment lifecycle, from initiating and maintaining deal flow to conducting thorough due diligence and drafting investment memoranda. They also assist with the management and exit processes of portfolio companies through financial modeling, market analysis, and regular performance monitoring. The Senior Analyst conducts comprehensive market research, aggregates industry data, and attends industry events to distill insights and identify new opportunities. Additionally, they provide ongoing support for portfolio company audits, fundraising, valuations and exit strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Initiate and support deal flow
• Perform due diligence
• Contribute to fundraising
• Assist current portfolio company management and exit processes
• Conduct market research
• Attend industry events and teleconferences
• Support portfolio companies
Qualifications:
• 1–3 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, consulting or financial analysis
• Strong proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques and investment analysis (Excel, PowerPoint, and financial analysis software)
• Excellent analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to present complex information clearly
• Ability to work effectively under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and meet tight deadlines
• High attention to detail and accuracy, strong organizational skills
• Team player with a proactive attitude and a strong work ethic
