About the Role

2 Year Fixed Term Contract

Are you naturally inquisitive and eager to discover opportunities to support customers and improve cyber resilience? If so, come and join EDF as an Online Threat Intelligence Senior Analyst!

The Opportunity

As an Online Threat Intelligence Senior Analyst, you will support our IT Security, counter fraud, and risk management teams in identifying online threats to our customers and operational businesses. Your role will involve staying informed of emerging threats and implementing proactive countermeasures to mitigate risks.

You will join the Customers Security and Resilience Team, supporting our Business Information Security Officer and Counter Fraud Team in gathering, analyzing, and communicating threats and security risks. Collaborating with technical and customer support teams, you'll help improve our security posture, assist in incidents and investigations, and deliver strategic threat intelligence and trend analysis reports to senior stakeholders and executives.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Conducting open-source research on online fraud and cybersecurity topics.
  • Tracking financially motivated adversaries and identifying shifts in tradecraft, tooling, target scope, and motivation.
  • Contributing to intelligence analysis, assessments, and reporting to senior stakeholders.
  • Collaborating with technical teams to provide actionable intelligence during investigations.
  • Advising product and engineering teams on cybersecurity threats and mitigation strategies.
  • Supporting threat hunters in identifying indicators of compromise (IOCs) and developing search techniques based on TTPs.
Who You Are

Success in this role depends on technical skills and your behaviors, including:

  • Motivated, well-organized, and engaged.
  • Eager to learn and discover actionable information supporting business outcomes.
  • Experienced in research and producing concise, informative briefs and documentation.
  • Familiar with cyber threat intelligence tools, datasets, and analysis techniques.
  • Certifications in OSINT (e.g., SANS SEC487, SEC587, CRTIA).
  • Awareness of laws related to data capture, threat intelligence, and ethical considerations.
  • An effective, enthusiastic team player.
