Role Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Analyst to join the Mobile Analytics team, working with the Mobile Casual group (MoCa) on titles like SimCity BuildIt, Design Homes, and an unreleased prototype. You will analyze large volumes of granular player data to derive insights that inform game design, feature prioritization, and product development.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct in-depth analysis and modeling to identify opportunities for product improvement; communicate insights effectively to product, business, and management teams.
2. Design and analyze A/B tests to optimize product performance and inform development strategies.
3. Develop, maintain, and promote behavioral models; enhance existing methodologies, systems, and processes.
4. Participate in data democratization and education initiatives: teach users how to utilize dashboards and access data, guiding less experienced team members in asking the right questions and making data-driven decisions.
5. Communicate findings clearly to stakeholders at various levels.

Qualifications:

1. At least 3 years of experience in a similar role within gaming, internet, technology, or consulting industries, focusing on user experience.
2. Passion for games and data analysis.
3. Strong foundation in mathematics and statistics, including probability, correlation, regression, and classification; familiarity with machine learning and AI is a plus.
4. Proficiency in statistical programming languages such as R and Python.
5. Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Looker Studio, Redash).
6. Advanced SQL skills.
7. Knowledge of data processing tools like Redshift, Snowflake, Hadoop/Hive, Google BigQuery.
8. Degree in mathematics, statistics, economics, computer science, or a related technical field.
