Job summary

GIC, based in London, seeks an Associate to join the Secondaries team for a three-year programme. You will build complex Excel models valuing operating companies, funds and portfolios, supporting memos and IC presentations.

You will represent GIC with private equity managers, management and intermediaries during due diligence and monitoring, and coordinate with Funds, Direct Investments, Venture, Infrastructure, and Real Estate groups on opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Demonstrated success in previous roles in investment banking or private equity.
• Hands-on experience in transactional processes and financial modelling.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent work ethic and collaborative approach.

Responsibilities

• Build Excel-based models to value operating companies, funds, portfolios and securitized structures.
• Assist in deal memos and Investment Committee presentations.
• Represent GIC with PE managers, company management, counterparties and intermediaries during due diligence and monitoring.
• Coordinate with strategy groups on investment opportunities.
• Assist in deal closing with internal and external counsel and back/middle office.
