Marks Sattin Ltd. is recruiting a Group Financial Controller in Rotherham for a private equity-backed group.

You will own group accounting, consolidation, and reporting, partnering with the CFO and senior leadership to drive financial performance and governance across the group. The role requires ACA qualification and extensive experience in group finance, with a focus on robust controls and growth-enabled transformations.

Qualifications

• ACA qualification and senior financial control or group finance experience.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and group consolidation.
• Experience in multi-entity or complex group environments.
• Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead group month-end and year-end reporting.
• Produce consolidated management accounts, board packs and reports.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting and cash flow reporting.
• Maintain robust financial controls and governance across the group.
• Oversee statutory accounts preparation, audit and compliance.
• Drive improvements in financial processes, systems and reporting.
• Support growth initiatives including acquisitions and integration.
• Partner with operational teams to improve profitability.
• Develop and support the wider finance team.
