Marks Sattin Ltd is recruiting a Group Financial Controller for its Manchester office. You will be ACA/ACCA qualified and manage a finance team, delivering consolidated group statements and timely management reporting.

Role - Group Financial Controller Location - Manchester Salary - Between £90,000 and £105,000 + additional benefits

Marks Sattin are currently recruiting for a fast-growing PE backed business in their search for a Group Financial Controller to work out of their office based in Manchester city centre.

The successful candidate will need to be ACA or ACCA qualified and must have worked for a complex business previously. Strong technical accounting skills are absolutely essential and any experience of consolidating accounts would be preferable. Advanced Excel skills are crucial and any exposure to working within a PE backed environment previously would be a distinct advantage. Excellent staff management skills are crucial as is the ability to work to tight deadlines.

Key duties for the Group Financial Controller role will involve:

• Responsible for the group consolidated financial statements
• Lead on the timely delivery of management reporting
• Lead on improving processes and systems throughout the organisation
• Assist with providing financial information for acquisitions
• Prepare and review year end statutory accounts
• Responsible for the group VAT and tax compliance
• Investor reporting
• Look to strengthen internal controls and processes
• Produce and present key financial reporting
• Management of a finance team

Salary for the role is between £90,000 - 105,000 + additional benefits
