Job summary

Chadwick Nott is recruiting a Private Client Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join its Private Client Department in Pontyclun. The role involves handling wills, LPAs, probate, and estate administration within a supportive team.

The successful candidate will manage both straightforward and more complex matters with supervision and have strong client-care skills. STEP qualification or progress toward STEP is highly desirable, with a competitive package dependent on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in wills, LPAs and probate.
• Strong client care skills and a sensitive, professional approach.
• Good drafting, organisation and file management skills.
• STEP qualification or willingness to work towards STEP is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Draft wills and related documents.
• Manage lasting powers of attorney and probate work.
• Oversee estate administration and professional executor duties.
• Handle trusts and Court of Protection matters where appropriate.
• Take on straightforward and more complex matters with supervision.
• Collaborate with solicitors, trainees and support staff.
