Job summary

Chadwick Nott is seeking a Private Client Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join its busy Private Client Department in Talbot Green on a hybrid basis. You will manage wills, LPAs, probate, and estate administration alongside a supportive, TE P-qualified Head of Department.

You will develop a broad private client practice, with exposure to trusts, Court of Protection matters, and potential for business development, under strong supervision and mentoring.

Qualifications

• Experience in wills, LPAs and probate.
• Strong client care skills and professional approach.
• Good drafting and organisational skills.
• Confidence managing files with supervision.
• Ability to work collaboratively with solicitors, trainees and support staff.
• STEP qualification, TEP status or willingness to work towards STEP (highly desirable).

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied private client caseload including wills, LPAs, probate.
• Supervise junior colleagues and support their development.
• Deliver high quality client service and maintain relationships.
• Draft content for legal updates.
• Attend conferences, networking events and identify business development opportunities.
• Cross referring work across the wider Private Client and Family teams.
