Eventus Legal seeks a Private Client Solicitor to join a well-established Yorkshire law firm based in Leeds, working from Horsforth or Wetherby with attendance at Dewsbury each Tuesday. This permanent, full-time role offers a negotiable salary up to £55,000 depending on experience and a comprehensive benefits package.

The role involves managing a varied private client caseload, delivering high-quality service, and contributing to business development within the Private Client team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' PQE in Private Client law is required.
• Relevant legal qualification and ability to manage private client caseload.
• Strong client-care skills and clear communication with clients.
• Ability to work from Horsforth or Wetherby offices and attend Dewsbury weekly.

Responsibilities

• Manage allocated private client matters following firm procedures.
• Progress matters and keep clients informed on progress and costs.
• Meet billing and time-recording expectations.
• Take responsibility for credit control on your matters.
• Ensure compliance with professional, regulatory and organisational requirements.
• Maintain communication with colleagues and external organisations.
• Contribute to networking, marketing and business development.
• Pursue relevant training and professional development.
