Qualifications

This full-service law firm, which also functions as estate agents, is seeking a Lawyer to join its busy Private Client Team in Glasgow. The role involves providing professional advice to clients on private client matters including wills, powers of attorney, testamentary trust plans, and family protection trusts.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing accurate, legally sound documents based on client instructions, ensuring compliance.
• Conducting consultations to understand client needs, providing expert advice, and gathering instructions for estate planning documents.
• Meeting monthly fee targets by effectively pricing and selling estate planning services.
• Developing relationships with Charities, Financial Advisors, and other partners to generate new business.
• Supervising support staff within the team, delegating tasks, and managing performance.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years’ PQE in a private client team or firm, with experience or interest in estate planning. Experience with sensitive and complex cases is desirable. 2024 qualifiers focusing on Private Client will also be considered.
